In today’s competitive business environment, it’s survival of the most innovative. To assist companies and other organisations in managing and enhancing their innovation efforts and returns, the new ISO 56002 standard provides a comprehensive set of pragmatic guidelines.
The new standard marks a major first for the International Standardisation Organisation. Scheduled for final publication in the coming months, ISO 56002 is the world’s first-ever standard on innovation management. Its contents are the result of a collaboration between more than 50 experts from 47 countries around the globe. Consequently, the standard offers you the right knowledge to ace innovation in your organisation by defining appropriate systems and processes, a common language on innovation management, useful support tools, and quality assessment criteria.

What do innovative organisations have in common? Apart from being ambitious, organisations that excel at innovation are guided by 7 principles defined in ISO 56002: realising value, providing future-minded leadership, determining purposeful direction, nurturing an innovation culture, gaining exploitable insights, mastering uncertainty and enhancing their adaptability. The new standard helps you turn these guidelines into daily actions.
