Putting SDGs into practice with standards

To make our world a livable place again, the United Nations (UN) developed 17 sustainable development goals: the so-called Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs.

This ambitious action plan to promote peace and prosperity, fight poverty and protect the planet by 2030, is essential for the sustainable development of our world.

Truly changing the world is a difficult task. It requires the commitment of all levels of our society: governments, business and the people. Fortunately, standards are a useful tool for achieving these 17 goals.
