Did you know that ISO develops global standards for the circular economy? The Circular Economy committee (ISO/TC 323) has already published several standards that support organizations, regardless of their size or sector.
This committee is now starting to develop a new certifiable management system standard for the circular economy: ISO 59001. The standard helps organizations to work circularly using a systematic approach. In this way, materials and products retain, restore, or increase their value, and organizations contribute to sustainable development.

We are also actively contributing to this in Belgium! The national committee NBN/I323 brings together experts from various sectors to collaborate on ISO standards relating to the circular economy, including this new standard. The good news? You can participate!
