Who are we looking for?

Anyone with an interesting perspective on data-driven agri-food systems may participate in the Belgian standards committee. We are looking for experts in many aspects of the agri-food sector, whether large companies or SMEs, researchers, governments, etc. Knowledge of standards is not necessary.

The Belgian standards committee NBN/I347: data-driven agrifood systems, represents Belgium in the international standards development of the committee ISO/TC 347 (Data-driven agrifood systems).

Today's agrifood systems face significant challenges. Digital technologies can help solve those problems, but there's often a lack of interoperability between different systems. To exchange and use data effectively, these systems must be able to be seamlessly integrated. Standards play a crucial role in improving interoperability and thereby allowing the benefits of digital innovations to be fully enjoyed.
Participation in NBN Committees 2025:
640 euros (excluding VAT) for one commission.
530 euros (excluding VAT) for each additional commission.
